You need to make sure that you find the right graphic designer for the right job. There is no point hiring a specialist logo designer when you want a specialist in web graphic design. They may be talented, but they could lack the expertise needed to complete your project. Ask to see their graphic design portfolio, find out where they have the most expertise, or are they an all-rounder? Could there even be a team of designers working on your project, each with their specialism? It could be that you need to hire another designer to work alongside the other in order to help you finish.
Key Tip: Make sure you know what you want and can define what you are looking for, and what your overall goals are. This is will save time, and the designer won’t be using your time to draft ‘experiments’ for you.
